http://www.svc.com/hypersr7-w78.html
I don't know anything about Hypersonic, but the link discusses how they are a failed subsidiary of OCZ. OCZ is giving a one year warranty.
This is a barebones (minus processor, RAM and HDD) laptop, BUT has a NVidia 8700M GT video card AND a 17" 1920x1200 display, all for $350! Apparently it comes with a webcam, DVD burner, Bluetooth and and even a TV tuner. You will need an OS though.

I wish I was in the market for a laptop or had some money lying around.
They will also sell you an upgrade kit to complete the laptop that includes an Intel 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 2Gb DDR2 RAM and 250 Gb 7200 rpm HDD for $280. That makes the laptop ONLY $630!! For $50 they will install the CPU, RAM and HDD.
Price comp from Amazon = $2670

There is a barebones version with an NVidia 8800M GTX video card for $500. Oops, sold out already - no brainer!
Wow! I think I'll call the wife and see if there is any interest anyway. It's just I'm still on a damn 1024x760 15" monitor on my sweet new destop right now.

In one of the greatest games I've ever seen the Los Angeles Lakers outlasted the Boston Celtics for the gritty game 7 win, claiming the 2009-2010 NBA championship as their own.
The game was pure defense and what looked at times like street ball, with the referee's willing to let them make constant and considerable contact with each other all night until the waning moments of the 4th quarter when fouls were called in quick succession.
Kobe Bryant fell short in terms of scoring but made up for it with his rebounding and pass play.
Congratulations LA Lakers, great game. |

For all of you Xbox 360 enthusiasts who have modified your XBOX 360's to install custom dashboards, be able to make backups of your current games, and have full control of transferring files to and from the hard drive recent Xbox live bans have left you with a bad taste in your mouth.
Rejoice however as the Lite Touch software ensuring that all games are wave compliant was released for the LiteOn and BenQ drives earlier, leaving many of the original 360 owners in the dust as they had Hitachi or Samsung dvd drives.
LT has just been released for the Samsung drive with a version for the Hitachi pending. You can find the software at http://www.ixtreme.net
This message is intended for those who safely want to be able to make backups of their own games and modify their systems as enthusiasts, but due to the nature of this modification and the ability to use it for malevolent purposes no software will be provided by this site.

4 GB Corsair XMS RAM, $80 @ Frys
Right now, 4GB of Corsair XMS DDR3 1600 RAM is $40 off at Frys. This drops the price down from $120 to $80, which is an outstanding deal given how expensive RAM has been recently. Corsair XMS RAM, while not as high-quality as their Dominator line, is excellent RAM and can overclock pretty well up to 1800-1900MHz. Note that shipping at Frys is only $2, so you're spending a total of only $82 for 4GB of DDR3 RAM.

The GotY Edition features the full game plus four additional challenge maps. Own an NVIDIA card? It's perhaps the best game to show off PhysX processing.
